Next Meeting of the Parish Council
The next Parish Council meeting is the Annual Parish Council Meeting, where the Chair of the Council for the forthcoming year will be elected as the first item of business. This will take place at Gunthorpe Village Institute on Thursday 21st May 2026
Come and meet the Councillors!
There is time at every meeting for members of the public to raise questions and concerns.
The Parish Council Meeting will follow the Annual Parish Meeting which takes place from 7pm - Agenda​
Parish Council Meetings

We're responsible for:
​The Parish Council has various powers and responsibilities within the parish of Gunthorpe with Bale and act as the lowest tier of Government.
​
We receive information about Planning Applications, liaise with Norfolk County Council Highways, and are able to provide small grants to help support local services such as the Local Lynx.
​
If you would like to find out more, all residents are welcome to come along to all Parish Council meetings.​​
Annual Parish Meeting
​The Annual Parish Meeting is the opportunity for residents and electors in the Parish to meet and discuss issues relevant to the Parish. Topics do not need to be submitted in advance of the meeeting.
All local organisations are welcome to submit an annual report.
​
It is usually chaired by the Chair of the Parish Council (if present) and matters discussed can be added to the agenda of the next Parish Council meeting.
